The Becker/Big Lake Youth Hockey program exists because of our many volunteers.  The association is always looking to have additional people participate.  The more volunteers, the less work it is for everyone and our kids receive the benefits.

 

Please take a moment to review the listed opportunities below.  If you are interested to participate within the organization, but not necessarily within one of the posted roles, please post for the "I would like to volunteer" position.

 

The listing below contains Volunteer Opportunities that you can sign up for. Families (adults, 18 year of age or older) will be required to volunteer a minimum of 15 hours throughout the hockey season which runs from April 1st 2007-Aug. 1st 2008. Twelve (12) of the hours must be performed against a hockey related event such as keeping the game book or running the clock and three (3) hours must be associated to an ICE Association sponsored event.  The three (3) hours apply to all board and volunteer positions and must be applied to the opposite association in which you volunteer or hold a board level position for.

BIG LAKE SPUDFEST COORDINATOR

(Volunteer Position)

General Description:  The Spud Fest Coordinators primary role is to organize and run the volunteer positions required by BBLYHA for the Big lake Spud Fest parade and volunteer positions  This person is accountable to make sure our association has an adequate number of resources signed up to cover the necessary positions expected from BBLYHA at Spud Fest.  This person would be the primary point of contact for our association and would be available during the Spud Fest weekend (weekend prior to July 4th) to fill any voids and help with unexpected tasks, etc.
