Call to Order - 7:10 pm by Chris Nelson, President.

Routine Matters

" Minutes of the November meeting were approved as presented.
" Agenda was approved as presented.
" BBLYHA Treasurer Chelle Nelson not present. Chris Nelson reported a checkbook balance of $2,314.68. Recently paid tournament fees, web site host fee, goalie equipment purchase, and $3,090 to Buffalo for ice fees. Report approved as presented.
" BBLIA Account Chelle Nelson not present. Motion: To set the Mini Mite fee to $225 for 2004-2005 year excluding the Jamboree cost. S/P Report approved as presented.

District 10 John Gilbertson reported on the information he received from District 10.
" Weather cancellation policy on Dist. 10 website for everyone to read.
" Dist 10 needs to know changes of Board members as they happen.
" Squirts--will also use the new blue puck next year
" Dist 10 will send their ice bills the first of the year
" Reminder to all coaches--Keep Your Cool!

Helmets & Other Gear
Helmets are to stay on at all times when on the ice or on the bench. Neck guards are required for all games and practices or player will not be allowed to participate. Same policy for mouth guards, which must be colored.

Gambling License Update
Lois Pegg is not able to take on this need. Chelle will put an request for help on the ice bills to solicit a volunteer to start the entire application process over.

Coupon Books
" Suggestion was made to attempt to sell them at the upcoming Becker Business Expo. Lisa Ramerth will talk to Tammy Ellingson, Volunteer Coordinator, to add this volunteer need to the list.
" Also, volunteers are needed to sell the coupon books and BBL bottles of water at each high school home game.

MN Wild Tickets
There will be 16 Mini Mites who will skate between periods at the game on Saturday, December 20. Sold att 150 tickets.

Dodge Drives Minnesota Promotion
As of the meeting only seven (7) households participated in this fundraising effort for the association. Coaches need to push it/promote it. Deadline is December 31.

Jerseys/Company Sponsors Johna Nelson has checked with a few companies on this possibility.

ACE Coordinator Report - vacant/no report
No official word from Dave Schouveller that he has resigned. Mike Gonrowski has agreed to hold both the ACE and Coach Coordinator positions as well a serve on the Board.

Mites Kids Nights
Each of the mite level teams will be skating between the periods at the high school home games at Elk River. The schedule is:
C = January 6 Blue = February 3 Black = February 12 Mini Mites = February 19

Clinics
Squirt Clinic will be Thursday, January 8 from 7:30-8:30 pm and the Pee Wees Clinic will be Wednesday, January 7 from
7:45-8:45 pm at Elk River.

Youth Nights
Skaters will get in free if they wear their BBL jersey to two of the high school hockey games--Tuesday, January 13 vs St. Michael and Saturday, February 21 vs. North Branch.

Bantams
Andy Falenschenk and Ben Novell moved up to the high school team. Josh Burling waived to St. Cloud Bantam team.

Registration Coordinator
Lisa reported that she had received two new registrations that week--1 PeeWee and 1 Mini Mite.

Equipment Manager
The new mite jerseys are in--they are small. Next year will order larger sizes.

Volunteer Coordinator Report
Tammy Ellingson has taken on this responsibility. Contact her to find out what opportunities remain.

Ice Scheduler Report
Teresa Tonneslan was not present. Brenda Graber reported that Teresa wanted approval to purchase a software application for scheduling that other associations/ice arena use. Request tabled until Teresa is able to be present to answer questions.

Outdoor Ice
Tim will be contacted by Big Lake, Mike Goebel, when they need help to flood that rink at night. They hope to get ice by Christmas. So far it hasnt been cold enough.

Monticello Arena
They are proceeding with an ice arena located on the grounds of the middle school. They have asked us to buy ice from them if our arena is not ready by then.

SKATE Program
Mike Gonrowski has been in contact with a SKATE Rep and will ask them to be present at the February monthly meeting to talk about this program that stresses the importance of academic achievements. Julie Carlson was the Coordinator of this program last year for the Princeton Association. She will be contacted to see if she would be willing to take this on for our association.

High School Coach Report
Mark reported that he has 21 kids--with 25 he could of had a JV team. North Branch continues to be our JV team. Hope to get new jersyes for next year. Reported that the team is not fully funded yet by the school.
