LAMP
Jim Arbogast attended the March 17 LAMP meeting. He reported that the land (5 acres) in Big Lake needs to be secured. LAMP has $60,000 of the $84,500 neededwe need to raise the balance by July. Lois Pegg will follow up with LAMP.
Rollie Olson/Golf Tournament
Rollie again was not present to address the group. Johna will contact him to ask him to attend our next meeting.
District 10 Mandatory Parent Meeting
Lois Pegg presented information on this mandatory meeting on conduct and attitudes for parents concerning hockey. If parents want their children to play, then they must attend this meeting September 25 at the Xcel Center. Parents are $5 and Coaches $35. More info and registration available at MN Hockey website.
Fundraisers - Coupon Books
Deb Levens reported $597 was raised in March by selling coupon books at Becker Tom Thumb and at the Expo. Special thanks to Jamie Lewis for her efforts.
Fundraisers - Calendar
Lisa Ramerth, Julie Smith and Deb Levens have met and formulated details for this possible mandatory calendar fundraiser and submitted possible mock-up. (see attached) Can expect $9-$11,000 profit. Each family responsible to sell 10 calendars at $20 each.
Fundraisers - Pancake Breakfast
Has been canceled. Becker Community Center was not available for date planned and would cost $350 to rent the facility and generally revenues total $500.
ACE/Coaching Coordinator Report
" Coach Evaluations and Applications are available on the association website. Return by April 18.
" Mike plans to hold a 10-day Dry Land Clinic in the summer. Possibly begin in June and will be held at the Becker outdoor rink or Field House.
" There will be 5 skills clinics in August prior to Evaluations and Labor Day.
" Mike would like to offer a Learn to Skate clinic for Mites or new skaters.
Evaluations
Mike plans on having 1 day to go over skills and 3 days of evaluations. Looking at mid-September. Plan to have high school, Coach Coordinator and couple other individuals select the skills to use. Outside evaluators only. No parents. (see Centennial website for example of process planned to be used by us).

Mini-Mite Subsidy
Dave Darsow expressed his opinion that a Mini-Mite subsidy program be established to help new skaters at this level get necessary equipment, etc. Further discussion will be held at May meeting. Comment was made that we still have the Blue Line Account, which was established for assistance with equipment. Suggestion was made to consider splitting the season for this level. Request was made that everyone could donate their old, outgrown little equipment to help out skaters at this level.
